When owner Damien Doffo visited Japan last year, Doffo Wines sold out due to their elegance. This time, he has brought us two unique wines from Temecula Valley, California, with a focus on aroma and flavor.
～ Doffo Winery ～
Located in Temecula Valley, California, a wine region little known in Japan, is a family-run winery founded by Marcelo Doffo in 1997. Standing as a beacon of winemaking excellence, the winery plays classical music to keep the vineyards calm.
Doffo's passion for wine stems from his Italian ancestors who immigrated to Argentina in the early 1900s. Using know-how gained in Argentina and the United States, the Doffo family's lovingly tended vineyards produce grapes of exceptional quality and wines that capture the essence of the region.
~ Vermentino (white wine) ~
A refreshing Vermentino with a Mediterranean feel. In addition to the citrus aroma, it has a pleasant hint of herbs. It is the perfect pairing with seafood dishes, salads, and light appetizers.
~ Zinfandel (red wine) ~
Zinfandel is characterized by its rich and powerful fruitiness. Its elegant and rich aromas of black cherry and plum are accented with a hint of spice, leaving a deep, satisfying finish. It pairs perfectly with meat dishes and dishes with rich sauces.
